Description
Product Description

Relevant Standard Testing Requirements
Meet the standards: IEC62133-2012, UL1642, UN38.3 and 31241-2014 standards.

The batteries and battery packs shall be fastened to the plane of the vibrator in a way that does not cause the batteries to deform, so as to ensure the correct propagation of vibration. The vibration shall be in a sinusoidal waveform, with a logarithmic sweep frequency that swings between 7 Hz and 200 Hz and then returns to 7 Hz, lasting for 15 minutes. This vibration process must be repeated 12 times for each of the three mutually perpendicular installation orientations of the battery, with a total duration of 3 hours. One of the vibration directions must be perpendicular to the end face.

The logarithmic sweep frequency is as follows: Start from 7 Hz and maintain a maximum acceleration of 1gn until the frequency reaches 18 Hz. Then, keep the amplitude at 0.8 mm (total offset of 1.6 mm) and increase the frequency until the maximum acceleration reaches 8gn (the frequency is approximately 50 Hz). Maintain the maximum acceleration at 8gn until the frequency increases to 200 Hz.

According to the requirements of 38.3.4.3.3, if there is no weight loss, no leakage, no gas exhaust, no disintegration, no rupture, and no combustion, and the open-circuit voltage of each tested battery or battery pack after the test is not less than 90% of its voltage before the test, the batteries and battery packs meet this requirement. The requirements regarding voltage do not apply to the tested batteries and battery packs in a fully discharged state.

After fully charging the battery according to the test method specified in 4.5.1, fasten the battery to the vibration test bench and conduct a sinusoidal vibration test according to the parameters in Table 7.
